Here's a fun interlude of our lil gal Marni cautiously be-friending a neighbor's dog, a sweetheart Golden Retriever named Lena. I think they both wanted to play with each other, but didn't know how. :)

My Pinterest board "Textile and Pattern" totally wowed me this morning -- so many gorgeous textures and patterns on there! I love combinations of color, pattern, shape, and texture; makes my heart swell, seriously!

Wet! Cloudy! Drowsy! Not diggin' it. Making this sleepy girl even sleepier. And while this dose of showers is good for the recently-planted potato "crop," I am eager for the sun to show itself once again. The good news is, the rain inspires many fun and clever illustrations...!  (click on image for link!)

I've never been gung-ho about bread boxes; in general I don't like too much cluttering up the counter tops. And we don't eat a lot of bread, anyway, so the box could be empty 50-80% of the time. But this week, we have a couple bread items, and they are currently sitting on the counter in their bags, making me casually consider purchasing a bread box. If I found one I loved, at a decent price, maybe, just maybe, I'd get one... Here are some possibilities so far...

When Colorado finally transitions to Spring/Summer, I'll be [fashionably] ready for it! I've stocked up on some lovely pieces and basics, and can't wait to ditch the scarves and boots!  In the meantime, here are some lovely clothes to stare at...

I just completed a website for Colorado-based painter and illustrator Marc Hatfield (www.marchatfield.com). Marc had a clear image of what he wanted the site to look like -- black background, an easy-to-navigate gallery of images, and basic information about himself and his work. Like all sites we design here, this one can be managed and edited by Marc whenever he needs to add new work, change some text, add a page, etc.

Also! Um, Marc is a fantastic painter!! Wow! I sincerely love his work. It is energetic, vibrant, fun, and captures mood and emotion with colors and textures. Please enjoy a few of my favorites. :)
